Cookies

Two cookies are needed for the terminal to work at all. One more is optional and is not requested unless you say yes. There is no consent platform and no third-party tag manager: the answer is kept in a cookie we set ourselves, which is also why this page can list everything.

Needed for the terminal to work

sb-*-auth-token: Keeps you signed in. Set by Supabase when you follow a sign-in link, and removed when you sign out.; Kept: Until you sign out, or one year.
swealth_edge_consent: Remembers the answer you gave on this page, so you are not asked again. It records the answer, the time and which control you used.; Kept: Six months.

Only if you allow it

_ga, _ga_*: Counts visits and which pages are read, so we know which explainers are worth writing. Only set if you allow analytics, and the script is not requested at all before then.; Kept: Up to two years, set by Google.

If you have not answered, or you answered no, the analytics script is never requested. It is not loaded and then told to behave — the tag is absent from the page.

Changing your answer

Your answer is stored for 6 months, together with the time you gave it and which control you used. Version 1 is current; if we ever change what is set, the version moves and everybody is asked again. Withdrawing is the same single click as agreeing.

Email

Signal alerts and sign-in links are sent because you asked for them, and each is recorded with the source and the moment you asked. Anything about the product itself is a separate permission, asked separately, and refusing it does not affect your alerts. You can change either from your alert preferences.
